Why does my 42lb1dr-ua shuts down after 10 seconds

Bad capacitor in board

It is shutting down because of a fault,which can be on any of the boards it needs to go to an engineer for repair.

Fault with main board. Damaged component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Hi Marvin.press the power button for about 10 seconds and the mac will shut down. Make sure it's 10 seconds and not 3 seconds.

Sir try to use a dvd and put a movie if your unit produce normal sound and picture the problem is the digital receiver. Good day and best regards.

I had mine for 2 years and the main board went out. Cost 650 dollars to fix. Its been less than a yr and a half and it went out again. Selling it on ebay for parts...

sounds like the audio ic is shutting the tv down,

mine did the same thing once, I unplugged it long enough to make sure it shuts down all the way and let it reset itself. Turned it back on and it was and is fine [it's been 2 mos. now] That worked this time.
Last time one of my kids spilled something down the back and it gradually went out. 600.00 to have the part replaced.
