GE waher model no- WWA8935 SALWW leaking oil under wahser

Check the water valve screens in the water valve. Remove and clean

either leeking or split bottle or leaking motor in bottle or the feeder pipes to wahers or the pipes are split or leaking

It could be the door lock, the water valve, screens on hoses and valve, or the drain pump

The lower seal is leaking. Over time the seal hardens and does not perform as it once did. Although this link is not your exact model the transmission is exactly the same. The seal that is leaking is item 756.

It is not a difficult task to change the seal. The hardes part is getting the old seal out that involves punching thru the old seal and prying it out after removing the drive pulley. Use a block of wood to gently tap the new seal in place.

try cutting the soap in half, if your water is soft or you see soap in the washer it is too much

yes it is normal. It fills up during the washing proces
I had the same thought at first but it truns out ok.

take a butter knife and release the two clips on the top of the front panel (look in the seem between the top and front panel and push the butter knife directly into the clips), this will release the front panel from the machine. then you can see where the water is coming from.

you have the seals out of the washer. with washing farm clothes and the sand and grit sitting on the bottom of the machine right on top of the seal and bearing they went bad. i suggest that you by a whirlpool washer there seals are up higher then any other machine. amana, maytag ge are not good for farm wahers sorry to inform you.

Hi, there. Get some one to fix that leak ASAP. The lack of oil will ruin your machine's transmission and/or motor. If you've noticed that your machine runs louder than it used to, then ***stop using it*** until you get the leak repaired. I kept using mine and when it stopped working I couldn't get the parts (a transmission) so I have to get a new one.
