My bosch dishwasher she6af02uc is showing an E-24 error what is this

It's possible the machine is slightly twisted.
Try re-levelling it to start.
You can usually tell when the door is not quite closed if it looks out-of-centre.

The next thing to check is lubrication of the catch. Try some WD-40 in the latch mechanism.

If still no better, then the latch may need adjusting by removing the front panel (unplug machine before doing this).
Grease the moving parts and adjust catch for easy closing.

An error 24 code on your Bosch dishwasher means that you have a clog or that your pump is bad. Check and clean out your airgap. Bosch won't tell you what the error code means, only that you need a service call, and they will then give you some phone numbers for Bosch authorized appliance repair places, one of which was Mr. Appliance. The appliance repair place will want to put in a new part whether you need it or not so that they can get paid by Bosch. I found this out the hard way. Hey Bosch, be smart and tell your customers what the error codes mean so that they are informed and you don't look like you are trying to rip them off. Leave that to Mr. Appliance. You can always remind the customer that working on the actual dishwasher voids the warranty.

This means that the Dishwashers has detected a condition it needs to check. Press "Cancel" to clear the display and to stop the beeping sound, then try turning the Dishwashers off and on again. If you still see the "E 24," turn off the power to your Dishwashers and wait five minutes before turning it on again. If you hear the beep or see the "E 24 " when you try to washing again, please call your authorized provider for service.
