What you need to check are the two thermostats mounted to the heater housing BOTH should have continuity

I have a roper dryer model#red4440sq0 that i replaced the heating element in but it still doesnt get hot just warm like its on low.any ideas?also cleaned out the vent.help

That is either a bad control thermostat or a timer going bad. I would replace the control thermostat first. Keep in mind you might have a bad electrical problem too like a breaker or dryer receptacle, dryer cord or any electrical connection.

What does it mean if my roper dryer runs but doesnt get hot ?

either the breaker has tripped and not allowing it to heat,thermal fuse kit may have gone bad or element is bad.that is normal problems with dryers.first check to see if 220 is going to dryer and drye cord is in good shape.no burns.

Dryer will run forever if it doesnt heat up, Dryer has to heat up and thermostat has to get hot and open to start the timer. Odds are rally great, it is your heating element.

YOUR HEATING ELEMENT IS BAD OR YOUR HEATER BOX FUSE IS BAD,IF YOU HAVE A METER YOU CAN CHECK THEM BOTH-LET ME KNOW-MIKE
