You may have thought you were contacting HP directly, but you did not do so...Please go to
this link to see the parts breakdown for your scanner. Unfortunately, I can only find the glass as a component of the entire scanner flatbed unit assembly, which would be quite expensive to replace.
I suggest you contact the HP parts replacement by email and submit a request with the details of your printer and purchase/shipping arrangements and an explanation of the damage and see if someone there cannot help you to obtain the required piece of glass, or at least the bar code needed to be scanned...the link for them is

If you are not successful in getting them to help, I suggest you make a post in the HP support forums,
available here, where you will find many HP experts who are better able to direct your inquiries to the proper venue for a rapid solution.
