LaserJet 1320 Trying to locate how to obtain the retaining clip that attaches the transfer roller to the right side of an HP LaserJet 1320. Have contacted HP tech support and gotten absolutely no help whatsoever - just the universal "take it to your nearest ASP". Thank you!

No good - I ended up ordering the Transfer Roller Assy from HP direct. What was sent had two bare rod ends, NO CLIP! I order all my normal parts from Parts Now!. They also checked their stock and it also does not come with the clip.

You can use the HP parts surfer to ID your part: http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main?sel_flg=modsrch&template=main&cpric=us&prodsrch=1320+LASERJET&submit.x=7&submit.y=7 Then the issue becomes where you buy it: http://www.depot-america.com/ http://www.partshere.com/ Good luck and please don?t forget to rate this posting.

! in triangle symbol of HP1320 printer flashing. Only light. Cartridge door closed. Troubleshooting says all is well. Print job goes to queue, then disappears as done, but nothing prints.

On the HP LaserJet 1320, the attention light is a generic alarm. It can mean out of paper, paper jam, paper misfeed, cartridge missing, or cartridge door open. You can try cleaning the pickup roller or changing the separation pad. You can find these maintenance steps in the user manual starting on page 73 (page 83 of the PDF). HP has the manual here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00208215 . More guides are available on the product page: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-laserjet-1320-printer-series/410622/model/410624/manuals . Amazon has the separation pad available here: https://www.amazon.com/RM1-1298-HP-Separation-Tray-P2015/dp/B009SPB1H4 . Links to replacement pickup rollers are on this page. There are probably other sources for the parts as well.

Unfortunately, it can also indicate that a part has broken from paper pickup unit or the door closed sensor isn't working. At my home when our LaserJet 1320 reached ~10 years old, we got this message and decided to replace the printer. It wasn't worth trying to locate and repair the problem when cleaning the pickup roller and paper path didn't work.

I hope this helps.

My printer hp laserjet 1320 output is light why

The two common things that cause this type of problem are:
1) low toner - remove the toner and shake it from side to side to distribute the toner evenly in the cartridge to test. If the print gets better then you need to get a new toner cartridge because your is almost out.
2) The transfer roller that charges the paper to allow the toner to transfer to the page is worn out and will need to be replaced. The roller is user replaceable and comes in the maintenance roller kit that you can get here:

Replacing the rollers takes about 10 minutes or less.

I hope this helps you get your print going again.

Hp 1320n printer that constantly have paper jams after printing a few pages

As Vishwanathu stated first try cleaning the pickup roller. It is located on the bottom of the printer. Remove the paper tray and you will find it as shown here.

If cleaning the roller does not solve the issue then the roller kit will need to be replaced. The rubber tire gets worn down and become smooth, when this happens it can't grip the paper right to feed it into the printer. The roller kit for the Laserjet 1320 is available here:

I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.

After cleared paper jam, HP LaserJet 1320 prints blank pages

Yes you can replace the transfer roller, but check to make sure the roller is firmly seated into its holder and that the springs are contacting the metal shaft.

Good Luck

Laserjet 1320 will not pick paper

Paper misfeeds and failure to pickup the paper are both common symptoms of a worn pickup roller. This roller is on the bottom of the printer as shown in the attached picture.

With use the rubber tire gets smooth and can't grip the paper enough to pick it up and push it into the printer. The roller kit is easy to install yourself and will get the printer back going as good as new. You can get the roller kit here:
