Lens stuck, green Power light flashes, nothing happens.

Have tried every basic solution I could find on this site. None worked. Batteries are fully charged....camera has not been dropped and has not gotten wet. Everyone else mentions their camera beeping 3 times. Mine does nothing...except when I push the Power On button, the green light will FLASH.

The lens is already out....wasn't sure if you meant to TWIST from left to right or just PRESS left to right....so I tried both. No change in the problem.

All I did was to save my pictures to my computer and when it asked if I would like to delete the pics from my memory card, I selected yes. No beeping, just fleshing green light, lens out.

I had the same problem with my camera. I managed to turn around the lens while the camera tried to open / close it. Since I did not know which one is the right direction, I tried very gently to turn to both directions and one of them worked .
But even now whenever I open or close the camera, it does struggle to open/close the lens. There must be a problem with the lens moving part.

Get a butter knife or any thin object like that and use it to push out the lens and turning it on at the same time  you will hear a clicking noise which is normal  once completely out, use your hand with a gentle but firm presure move it form left to right
and then hopefully it should work after that

I have a kodak easyshare c533 camera and it won't turn on. I tried new batteries but all it does is flash the green light. Any ways to fix this?

Green light flashed, turned red, lens would not open. Put in new rechargeable batteries, still nothing. Someone here suggested to try regular AA cheapie batteries. IT WORKED!

Hi there its happens when the lens not ready for work. Some how its not able to stable his focus method. That's why its come out & go back. There is a chances of lens guide pin disturbed or damaged & thats why green light blinking continues. Its mean he inform you there is a system error. So please visit the service center for repair that. Thanks.

My Nikon Coolpix L1 Digital Camera won't turn on but I do get an indication of the green light for a second but the lens won't extend..

hi there,

i had a similar problem, in that the green light would flash but nothing would happen,

best to try a brand new set of batteries, and if that doesn't work, the ribbon which brings power from the batteries to everythin else may not be connected fully. if you have the skill, or know some one with the skill, just open the camera up, and check all the ribbons (the power ribbon is identified generally as a green ribbon).

hope this helps :)

My camera is a new purple polaroid 1834, I got it for Christmas. I tried to take a picture the other day and it took one, and then shut down with the lens still out. It will not turn on, and everytime I...

it is fixable but best thing to do is take it back to where you got it for a replacement. Or send it in to Polaroid the lens gears are stuck and the zoom motor sounds like it has gone out. If you have no sucess doing that then let me know I repair these all the time.

Camera really messed up!

Have you tried taking out the batteries and leaving it alone for a bit, then loading new batteries? I would try this first before anything. Good Luck.
