Hi, I have a Maytag Neptune top load washer,(FAV6800AWW). After the cycle finishes the water continues to run to the point of over flowing and flooding the laundry room! The only way to make it stop is to shut the water off at the wall!

It ispossible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errorsdue to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main programcontroller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting fromthe flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit thewater at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then thevoltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to novoltage from the controller. This meansthe controller is a suspect.

Have Neptune FAV6800AWW top load, washes when it gets to the rinse cycle it stops with water in. If we remove the clothes and wait a while we can get it to complete. The code we are getting is DR which...

Are you sure the error code is DR? Could it be DC an unbalance error code. Google ""16022808.pdf"" to find. Is the washer banging around in Spin Cycle? If so this is a Clutch Pulley issue.

Google this ""Neptune TL Washer FAV6800AWW"" a forum where I help owners of the FAV6800A and FAV9800A machines.

DR is not a listed error code in the FAV6800A/FAV9800A Service Manual.

My neptune fav6800aww starts then I believe at the beginning of first spin cycle, it starts and then quits. After about 1 minute it retrys and the loop just continues over and over never exitng from that...

I feel from info you given you have a Clutch issue.

Google [FIXED] Maytag Neptune, Timer Problem

I had a difficult time extracting troubleshooting info but in the end nailed it. These issues are brought on by a leaky tub seal which is further work but easily handled buy a DIY owner with basic mech. skill sets.

At the end of cycle washer will not stop filling and overflows. maytag neptune fav6800aww

There is a diaphram switch located in the machine at the bottom right in the rear. When you remove the front panel it will be all the way back on the right. It senses the water level. It has three levels it detects. I had a problem with mine filling too much. That should take care of your problem.
