OKI Microline 390FB stops printing

Hi, my OKI 390 FB printer stops while printing. I had tried to completely unplugging and reinserting the cord into the power outlet but it dint work. When i print windows test page it will print completely, only if i print other documents like oracle system documents, printing will stop and alarm light blinks. Then there is no paper jam and cartridge problem. please advice

SOURCE: Paper Jam in OKI B4300 Led Printer

This printer is designed with a dual toner/drum chamber. Do not separate these two parts. Upon opening the lid, you will find the toner/drum assembly right in front of you. Pick it up with both hands and pull straight up. After that, you should be able to take the jammed papers. Know this: once a paper is jammed, printing another paper will NEVER take the first out. Just make sure to remove the complete papers. If they break, make sure you extract all the pieces.

SOURCE: oki microline 280 feeds paper continiously after a file print, and won't stop till i pull power cable

First, reinstall the driver and be sure it's the correct driver for this printer. If you drive a word document does it do the same? If not, chanses are the db application is constantly sending form feeds to the printer and the printer will do whatever it's told to do. Try a different printer setup in the db application.

Try Select, or Shift and Select, or Shift and Print.

SOURCE: i have oki microline 320 elite and printer head jams

In my own experience, Okidata printers have a nasty habit of collecting a lot of paper dust. To start out, I would suggest a really good cleaning, with no paper in the machine, with a can of compressed air. If that does not solve your problem, you might have to replace your feed wheel assembly. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: oki microline 390fb alarm blinking,

There are a few things that are possibly wrong with your printer. You may want to try completely unplugging and reinserting the cord into the power outlet. If that doesn't work, check your printers ink levels and ensure that there is no paper jam. Best of luck.

Microline 390 printer started printing very light. Replaced the cartridge and the print head still the same problem. Will print some areas dark and some are so light you can bairly see it. Any ideas?

Dot matrix printheads go bad, can be rebuilt, never had great luck cleaning, pins get stuck out.. Also there is a lever that moves the printhead closer or farther from paper. make sure that is in the right position. Usually on top cover may have numbers by the lever such as 1 , 2 , 3 etc

Hi, i had this microline 390 turbo for quite some years and today, it's been a little weird. It keep printing for no absolute reason and what it's pringing are characters that seem to be encoding...

disconnect the LPT cable, and try a usb cable, the wierd printing should stop while the cable is disconnected. I'll be willing to bet there is something trying to print or poll the printer from the computer. that is causing the random characters. check to see that there are no other printers configured g to print/connect to same LPT1 port, from an old printer installation. (thus switching to the USB cable). Be also sure to download the latest drivers for your operating system for the OKI, from OKI's website
