Cracked Screen. Replacement?

the screen is pretty easy to fit but expensive to buy. the cheapest way is if you could pick up a faulty player on something like ebay and take the screen from it to fix yours

just to make yourself an idea..but my advise is to get a cord and connect it to a normal monitor...for now...

Cracked Screen

The LCD screen on my Olympus fe-230 camera is cracked and I am trying to find a replacement screen to install. Any ideas where I can find one? Is this something I can replace myself

If you intend on paying someone to replace your lcd screen the repair will most likely cost more than the value of the camera, but you could have an estimate done at an authorized service center.

While the below procedure was written for the Easyshare V603, V803 & V1003, it should help you with your problem. You'll find the phone number on where to order your screen.

Make sure you specify the model # you have so they can find the right screen for you.

You should still be able to take a picture and download it to your PC even with a bad screen.
