MY Panasonic combo TV has no picture (black screen)
Tv was working fine an hour ago, turned it off and when I turned it on again I have no picture. VCR/DVD TV all work fine as far as loading playing sound, but no picture. When I turn off the TV you see the brief flash of colors in middle of screen. Could you tell me what it sounds like is wrong and approx. cost to fix. Is it worth fixiing?

could be the power supply card(s) is unseated..open it up if you dare and re-seat and/or maybe remove and clean the card edge connector contacts with an eraser

If you are using a set top box this might be caused by turnig the box on at the same tie as you turn the tv on or slightly after you turn the tv on. If you are using compnent or HDMI inputs the set needs to see the signal as it is turned on to know what formt the signal is in.
