Downloading the videos

Hi! I have the Sakar/Vivitar CV3 4PE MID0050211 and when i record a video, the sound doesnt come? Heeeeelp?!

I?ll be fine. All your original pictures are on the C drive. Unless you have changed the directory onto which you save when transferring: You can find the pictures under C-Drive, my pictures. The camera might need to be recharged. The camera doesn't charge from the computer while transferring pics. You will need to switch the camera off before the camera will start charging.

This will then take you to the next window where you need to select your

Disconnect the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded softwareprogram. When the program asks you to connect the camera to theUSB port, do so and it should work.Then to use it on the Web, do this.
Web Camera’s have to besetup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the cameraon your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order forthe Audio and Video to function properly.
A. Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Tools, then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
2. Then click on the Video Settings.
3. The camera if Installed Properly will come up and show a video picture.
4. Then, on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Yourfriends and Family will now be able to see and her to you.

B. Yahoo Setup:
After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger (http://www.soft32.com/download_30.html) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Messenger at the top left and click on it.
2. Next go down to Preferences and click on it.
3. Next Calling and Devices on the right and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
4. Next go to the Test Audio section and (in blue writing) click on “Open the call setup assistant” and follow the instructions on the left window.

This sounds like corrupted files. Are you downloading these pictures using your camera (ie through a USB cable attached to your camera)? If so, may I suggest using a USB card reader instead. If already using a card reader, suggest buying another one as it may have gone bad.

You plug the SD card into the card reader, and then plug the reader into the USB port of your computer. It essentially turns your SD card into a hard drive that you simply copy and paste or drag and drop the files from onto your computer's hard drive. It's very simple, no software involved.

Card readers are much faster in downloading files and are much less likely to incur file errors. For these reasons most (if not all) professional photographers use card readers instead of downloading directly from the camera. Card readers are also very inexpensive. Here's an example of a nice cheap one. Try it, see if it fixes your problem. If so, then consider getting a better one later:

C. Windows Live Messenger:

1. After you start Windows Live Messenger, expand the view by clicking on the square on top left next to the red X.
2. Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the right side, click on “ “Show Menus.” And then click on “Show the Menu Bar”.
3. Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on “ “Action.”
4. Go to “TOOLS” and click “Audio and Video Setting” and follow the instructions.

NOTE: Your audio and video should work. Enjoy.
When done both the Audio and Video will function properly so you can chat and see family or friends you are connected to.

Hi, In dowloading picture it must be in play mode to detect camera by your computer try it now , insert usb to camera and computer you can hear alert beep , the downloading icon will appear either from operating system or cd supplied by camera. , just follow instruction

You need to use the conversion software that came on the CD with your player for videos and pictures. If yours didn't come with a CD you can go to sandisk.com and download the sansa media converter from there:

Why because some audio drivers may not be properly installed even it is installed from the motherboard drivers. why because some Bios doesnt allow this. only solution to solve this issue. Try downloading latest driver for your sound card model.
