Mod operation in fx-83gt plus

Like many other Casio calculators, the fx-83GT Plus doesn't provide the modulus function. You have to do it the hard way.
To calculate 19 MOD 10 (which is 9, not 10 as you state in your question), first divide 19 by 10 and note the integer portion of the result (in this case, 1). Then subtract from 19 the product of 10 and the result of the first step. The result of the subtraction is the modulus. 19 - (1*10) = 9.

How can I calculate 121 mod 187 using fx-570ms?There is no mod button in my calculator.please help :)

Divide 121 by 187. Subtract the integer portion (in this case, 0). Multiply by 187.

The lack of a modulus function is a serious flaw in that generation of Casio calculators.

CASIO fx-115ES I need to calculate and fnd a modulus remainder.I need to divide the number 352 by the number 91 and find the remainder. I need to use the modulus operator. Can this calculator perform...

Actually, the answer is 79.

The fx-115ES does not have a key for the modulus operation. Nor does it have an integer-part or fractional-part operation. However, it is possible to calculate the remainder using integer arithmetic.

Press MODE 4 to shift into integer mode. Then type in 3 5 2 - 9 1 * ( 3 5 2 / 9 1 ) = and see the answer 79. It's a pain as both numbers have to be entered twice, but it does get the job done.

To get back to working with real numbers again, press MODE 1 ( or MODE 2 for complex).

  2. Note the 15 in front of the decimal separator and key in [−] 15 [=]
  3. Get the modulus: [×] 17 [=], result should be 1.
