hi dude,
sim is not valid, which mean ur sim might rejected , then only response will come like sim reg failed, or not valid, ur servise provider can only solve this probs. let u contact ur service provider,,and visit this site to unlock mobiles if u in this situation

Hi i have nokia 1100 the problem is when i put the sim its say sim is not valid

ERROR:The sim card is not valid.
SOLUTION:
1.Check the sim card with another mobile.
2.Else,the sim card is not registered(which displays the message "sim is not valid") and we have to call customer care and tell them to register your sim card.

Kaivenice this a SIM lock, your device is locked by your network operator, so contact service provider of sim which was working there, to unlock for you (with service provider this service is free), if it is not possible show some official repairer to unlock it.
