If there is an 'X' on the radio icon not a '!' then it has been disabled. To switch it on hit the wireless icon in the taskbar and select [enable radio]. If the radio fails to switch on then try a warm boot:- Partially remove the battery, hold down the On/Off button, the trigger and reinsert the battery. When the orange light on the keyboard flashes release the on/off button and the trigger. If the on/off button or trigger is held down longer than required this occasionally causes the terminal to get caught in a warm boot cycle If there is an '!' on the radio icon not a 'X' then the radio cannot associate to an AP due to regulatory issues. Hit the wireless icon in the taskbar and select [options], a pop up is then display, select [Regulatory] from the pull down menu. Then select your country and switch of 802.11d if not required. Warm boot the MC55 if that doesn't help then cold boot it, if that doesn't help then reload the Operating system, if that doesn't fix it then send it back to Motorola for a warranty repair.

Dont worry about that. Anyhow the connection is handled through Fusion software and not windows settings. Icon on the today screen in the right down corner.
