I just bought belts for my sharpener model 319.190710 from sears. It has the same belt size with the current sharpener in sears store. Tha name is "Belt Drive" Part number 2702.00". You just pick up the parts at sears store if you can because the shipping is $8 and the parts cost $9.76 for the two belts.

I need drive belts for a sears craftsman home sharpener,(model#319.190710. The belt from the motor to the transition gear on mine has disintegrated. Might as well change both. Sears parts says they no...

I just bought two new belts at Grainger, their stock number is Dayton 1DHH5. This is for 3/8" belts. I don't know what the originals were, they were so far gone! I think a 1/2" belt would work too. Industry P/N for the belts would be 100XL037 for the 3/8", and 100XL050 for 1/2". It's a 10" belt, with 5 teeth/inch.

Can i buy a new blade or can it be sharpened? it won't cut very good.

New blades are sold at both Home Depot and Lowes, and probably also at Sears.

To sharpen the blade use a wetsone to buff off any burrs and then a metal file to just touch up the edge. It won't need much work at all.
