The 3d option will only be available when you have 3d content playing on you TV. An exception is if you have 2d to 3d available on some new models. Look for a 3d button on your remote (might be red in color and hard to read) when blurry 3d is playing you must have active (battery powered) glasses synchronized by turning them on right under the TV or if you have passive 3d just put on your theater type glasses.

1) you must try again, replace the batteries with new one.
2) if doesnot work call the LG ,company go www.lg.com and get support online via chat, and ask them about your problem.
Most of the time is the Microcontroller section, for VCC +RST+CLOCK problem, this is a difficult for normal persons to test, you must go to the repair shop TV as another option,if the LG company fail.
God bless you

When i try to open the options menu i get to a menu that has device contents and device options but i can't select either?

The OK button is not like the Enter button.
Use the left/right/up/gown buttons to scroll through the menus.
when you have the settings right, press Enter. http://www.pdf-manual.com/tv/3d/philips/manual-47pfl7606h-12-51693.html

Boot menu

Your computer's BIOS, or basic input/output system, regulates several important system functions before your operating system loads.
The BIOS can even tell your operating system which device it should load from, whether the computer's hard drive or a USB stick.
You can control this and other options from the BIOS boot menu.
If you own an Acer Aspire One netbook and want to access the boot menu, you can do so by entering the computer's BIOS.

Turn off your Acer Aspire One netbook.
Turn it back on.

Press "F2" when you see the Acer logo appear as the computer boots up.
This will open the computer's BIOS menu.

Press the arrow keys to highlight the Boot option.
Press the down arrow key to highlight specific boot settings to change.

also
Windows operating systems support a variety of boot options on the Windows Advanced Options Menu that allow you boot your computer based on your need.

They support boot options such as Safe Mode, which is generally best for troubleshooting and virus removals; or the Safe Mode with Networking, which allows to use an Internet connection while troubleshooting system problems.
Within seconds, you can access the boot menu and select the option that works well for the task you want to accomplish.

Shut down all currently running programs and restart your computer.
Press "F8" repeatedly before the Windows icon shows up on your screen.
This will bring you to the "Windows Advance Options Menu."

Scroll down and select the boot option you want.
Press "Enter."You can select from "Safe Mode" "Safe Mode with Networking" or your regular booting option.
Choose the boot option based on your need.
For troubleshooting, it is advisable to select "Safe Mode" because only a certain amount of drivers and resources run allowing you to resolve issues.

RCA TV f27422 TURN OFF THE GUIDE PLUS

Hello, I have had my TV for 3-4 years and have dealt with this stupid guide popping up for the last 2 when I got curious to see if it was something I wanted to use. FINALLY I came across a solution - so far so good but tomorrow it could be back? I did not have the option field some suggested to use. So saw another suggestion for something else and so far so good. When going into the setup guide. Select the USA, place all 0's in the zip code area and NO for everything else.... no VCR no cable, etc.
Hope this helps..
I also was able to do this without the remote - IF you can get the menu to pop up you just have to use the numbers to select what you need. Found the remote and saw nothing different as far as menu options. Good luck.
