I need to display the time on my Nokia 2600 phone. I have selected "Show" under Time & Date Settings. When I browse through menus, the time displays in the upper right-hand corner. However, when I exit to the main display screen, the time disappears. Please help, thanks!
I'm a cell phone sales representative and I came across a customer that had a similar problem.
What I found with her, she had so many icons displayed along the top row of the phone that the phone simply did not have room to display the time.
By clearing out her text message inbox, the sent messages, the outbox and being sure all of her voicemails had been checked, a number of the icons disappeared off the top of the screen and so the phone started to display the time again.
So that solve the problem for her. Hopefully it can help you as well.

The phone will not show time on standby mode. It will show date, but not time.
same issue. I've even gone through tuturials to try and get a clock on display always. no juice. totally pissed at AT&T for leaving me with no other choice than this phone.
When I first got the phone it showed the time always, but now only when looking at other menus or when the screensaver is ghosting out.... totally frustrating since I need the clock all the time!
