Unable to send text messages or receive make calls

go into call and put in #06# and note imei number that comes up. Next phone the mobile network provider and tell them you want to check you phone got connected properly to their network when you purchased it , give them the mobile phone number and the imei number if they ask for it.
If it is a pre paid phone you may need a recharge of credits onto the phone. The dealer or assistant should have done this for you if needed and explained the pre paid system to you if you are on pre paid. You may have an internet portal with the mobile phoine network provider that can manage your pre paid.
If the mobile phonw was connected via wi fi you should have an application somewhere on the phone to manage recharging credits. if pre paid
You can't do it on the mobile data if your credits are zero.

check if you have load if you are a pre-paid subscriber. If you are a post paid subscriber, always check if your signal is enough to send/ receive messages. Try to restart your phone and start texting. If you still can't make it, immediately contact your service provider..

you have to call up your service provider and tell them tht u want ur messaging unblocked.

you may have to check your settings on the nokia- may not have text message 'up-loading'- 'sending' set up. your service may allow 'free' incoming- but not sending!
check your phone settings- may need to go on-line to alter your settings! or find info to set your phone!

call the customer service of your service provider ( AT&T,Vodafone,Verizon etc)....they will set up message center number on your phone , the one that you have might be incorrect...your mobile operator will send you sim updates that will refresh the settings ....and then you will get the text message options

Hey, I just bought the same phone from ebay, and it was preflashed for cricket too. My phone had the same exact problem. I called cricket technical support at 1-800-274-2538 and they refreshed my flashing while i was on the phone with them. As soon as I got off the phone with them my phone worked perfectly. This sounds like the phone was not fully flased before it was disconected! reflash

contact cricket and get there messae centre number of them, enter this into the option on your message settings, also get them to send you a sim update and also a gprs message update this will sort all your problems

go to message settings > sending profiles and serch for pre defined text

i have the same problem...
