Open the side panel, unplug components and usually just unscrew the drive. I would look on e-machines website for their specific instructions on it to be on the safe side but it should be pretty simple. Acer Back soon
Without the model number I can only make an educated guess: if it is a high pitched or fan like noise it is a bad color wheel--very common in Samsungs made in the last 4 or 5 years--I have instructions for replacing it--and where you can buy the part at the best price. Takes less then a hour to replace.

the model number you have supplied is for a (wd-73733) is for a 2007 DLP type tv---this model has no convergence circuits--it uses an optical light engine---what is wrong with this set? my direct email is:
if you go into the convergence mode in the customer menu does the red convergence adjust? if it does not you have a bad convergence Ic--set uses two of them, have both replaced and set adjusted and you will be back in business---if this is helpful give me a vote; if you need more direct help-----------: [email protected]
