Our ImageRunner is networked and in a central location in our office. Every time I want to print an envelope or anything of size other than 8 1/2 x 11, I have to physically go to the printer and change the paper size and type then go back to my computer and print. Just selecting the right paper size/type on my computer doesn't work - the printer screams error until I go to it and make the changes on the unit itself. Our old ImageRunner adjusted automatically based on the computer print settings. Does anyone know how to set up the 1025if so I'm not having to go back and forth to the printer?
When you are printing something get to the print area and before pressing the print button click on printer properties and then select the paper size from the list available
save then press the print button
it is only good for the job you are printing as the next job , it will revert to the default setting

Solution #2 WORKS! Just when you use the #clear option.. select "ALL" it will reset everything but all you have to do is simply re set the paper size to letter as it seems to default to A4 size once it re-initializes. What a nightmare this was..

In the cassette change the blue dial back to the correct type, either a4 or A4R (landscape). Sounds like you have to set it back to A4, Blue dial right hand side, front of cassette when you open it.
Or press the paper select button on the copy screen and see what it has been changed to, then change the dial in the cassette.
