[MSI 8606 TV Tuner Card] Can't get a picture

I've searched everywhere and found this forum here. Hopefully it will help me. When using my TV Tuner Card, I can't get a picture, but I get sound. Really garbled, static sound. Currently I have setup a VCR, DVD, my DirecTV Receiver, and a TV. No subwoofers or anything like that. I got the settings set to Cable, and have the thing set to Channel 4 and my TV set to Channel 4. Fine Tune is set to it's default (128) In Properties, in the Device tab, I got, Video Imput Device: Conexant 2388x Video Capture (only 1 on the list) Standard: NTSC_M Source: TV Audio Imput Device: Realtek AC97 Audio Source: Line In Volume: 100% On the TV tab, I have; Tuner: Cable Audio Mode: auto detection Stereo Broadcast: Mono Country or Region: United States Please help me.

EDIT: Wanted to add I have checked my cables if there where any lose ones or ones with shorts in them, and everything looks good.

So I say it's an issue with the card itself. I dunno if it's as simple as updating the drivers. I dunno where to look to get updated drivers anyway.

Dear Sir,
I think msi didnt released a driver for windows7. You can check it from this link
http://www.msi.com/product/mm/TV-nywhere-Master.html#/?div=Driver
Just try the XP version. But its not guaranteed to work. Or you can contact MSI toll-free number:

Sond problem

Hi, you have faulty drivers or a faulty card. Log onto the MSI website and download new drivers for it, if this doe's not fix the problem then replace the card. They are relatively cheap these days. Regards mistyman

Help please

You could try using Media Portal as your 'TV grabber' you can check it out at http://www.team-mediaportal.com/. You're most likely not going to get the MSI software to work properly on Vista until they release a compatible version. If you still want to use that software you'll have to switch back to XP. MSI doesn't have a lot of motivation to upgrade their software to Vista compatibility because most of their users are still on XP.
