TEC 7127: heats up but drum wont turn.

We have recently aquired a new condenser dryer, sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. The drum does not want to turn and it heats up the clothes inside. It tells us the cycle is finished when it is is not. I have checked the filters and the condenser and they appear fine. is there anything. Is there something simple I am not checking. I want to keep the machine as it is very good when it does work.

If it is new then you need to contact service agent, if you start messing about with it, you will invalidate your warranty.

Heat is blowing out but the drum is not spining

You broughtke the belt of drum wont turn you might take the dryer apart to make sure the idler pulley is spinning free also. They sometimes get tight and burn the belt up.

Hi my hotpoint dryer wont turn please help

You have the belt on wrong. There is a side with numbers or writing on it and ribbed side like treads. The tread side should be facing down, making contact with the drum. If the other side is touching the drum then whenever clothes are put in the belt will slip causing the drum not to turn.

My creda simplicity t622cw condenser dryer wont turn

Broken or belt has come off. If can open back and fix or replace. You may need to remove the top. Careful of the heat element, lift out drum and place new belt on motor holding it while you put the drum back keep hold of belt and place around drum replace top and should be ok. Hope this Helps

Hotpoint Utima Logic Sensing Condenser TDC62

lewensc...this sounds like a classic timer issue. Before replacing it, first turn off your mains breakers and then back on. Check all wiring from the breaker panel to the unit. If okay, then have a quick look at the items in the dryer and test them using a multi tester. If nothing is amiss, replace the timer.
