It also has the problem on the wash cycle Flashing lights on Wash, Start & 0 speed. Pump pumps water out to drain.

  • Rob41 Dec 30, 2008

Ditto - exact same issue. I've cleaned the filter but still no-go.

I think it may be tied in with the pumping process at the end of each cycle but I'm not sure....

I'd be glad to get any help!

Start light flashing, rince light on.machine will not start cycle

Hello. I really need the make/model number to help you accurately. However, from the symptoms you're describing, it sounds like the drain pump is jammed. A lot of dishwashers turn on the drain pump first to remove any stagnant water sitting in the bottom of the pump. Then, fresh water is let into the tub, fills to the proper amount, then the main pump starts. The lights flashing are an error code--different combinations of buttons flashing mean different things. On some models, a button light will flash a certain number of times, pause, then flash another number of times. This is a binary code telling the user what is malfunctioning. That's why I need the model number and any other info to help diagnose the issue. Thanks!

Machine lacked about 23 minutes in cycle, it stopped with lights flashing. It will not drain, therefore cannot spin. It just beeps whenbi try to start it again.

Good Day,
Your washing machine is fully automatic?
the washing cycle is normal?
if yes do the same maybe it will help you.
for the fully automatic washing machine mostly have drain pump, please check the filter of your drain pump, how? remove the cup of your drain pump like a ordinary cup, screw it clock wise or counter clock wise.
Remove drain pump filter and clean it, some hair pins, cotton buds or coins or any small item that coz of clog up.
if your washing machine dont have drain pump ,but fully automatic check the drain motor if running or not? how? open the back cover for top loader washing machine only, select spin cycle and press start to see the drain motor running? the drain motor is like a small box with small wire to pull the lever of the drain to remove water inside, if the motor running or pull the lever of the water pipe but water still inside the washing machine, remove the drain cup or cover and clean it or check if have coin or cloth inside that coz of clog or water stuck,
if the drain pump or drain motor is weak this is will cause and long time draining or totally not running the drain pump or drain motor and its cause of totally stop the cycle of washing machine in rinse time or spin time, because all fully automatic washing machine, after washing cycle the drain pump or drain motor must be on, to remove water before start the next cycle. rinse or spin cycle.

Machine stopped in mid cycle with the drain/unlocking light on. No error codes. Machine goes directly to the drain/unlocking position after start. Will not fill, spin, operate. Any ideas?

We have a Whirlpool 7KG frontloader washing machine (6th sense) model AWM8121. The problem is that the door light is flashing, the cycle has stopped at rinse (rinse light is on) and the machine is not...

We have an awm8121 and there seems to be a fault on the Spin cycle indicators with th 0 RPM and the 800 RPM flashing..

We can't seem to get the frontloader to finish the drain cycle and continue into the next was.

The last load of washing was still saturated when we managed to open the door.

Washing machine won't drain water nor spin

You have either a clog in your water pump or it has broke. Most the time it can be fixed by removing the 2 hoses attached and remove all debris. Then make sure it is still working. This will correct the light flashing problem at the same time. Please rate this ~!!!

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x
