I wanna use my net 10 sim in my AT&T cell phone but still have net 10/ tracfone service

You need unlocked phone. ATT sim works only with ATT phone.

The service provider does have access to the unlock codes for the phones. There are companies and programs that you can get that will give you the code, but these charge a fee usually. Try this, tell them you are traveling to another country and want to use a local sim card. Since this is a prepaid phone they should give you the unlock code anyway, you paid full price for the phone and they are legally obligated to provide you with it in most cases.

they are right - you can't switch SIM cards in tracfones.

You phone did not include a sim-card and old phone sim-cart won't fit in the new phone.
Your service provider can supply you with the correct sim card. Walmart has them for whatever prepaid service you use.

I recently got the sciphone i68 4G and when I put my straight talk SIM inside the phone I can't make out going calls.. What can I do about this problem????
Straight Talk sim cards are much like net10 or tracfone sim cards as in they are "phone specific" sim cards. Meaning those cards are coded to work only on the phone they come with. If you wanna go the pre-paid route I suggest you get an at&t gophone sim or tmobile prepaid sim. Both are available at their respective stores. *quick tip* If there isn't an at&t store close to you, you can pick up a cheap $10-$20 gophone at wal-mart or such store and swap sims after activating the "real" at&t phone.

The issue here is that T-Mobile puts a sim lock on all their devices, there is a solution though. If you are a postpaid customer contact T-Mobiles customer support and they will give you the unlock code if your service has been active for a minimum of 40 days. If you are a prepaid customer they will give you the code if you are eligible, to be an eligible prepaid customer you must have an account which has been active for a minimum of 60 days and have a balance of $10 usd, or a prior refill within the last 30 days.

I bought a prepaid phone card for my lg cookie and it will not let me add it i called at&t and they did something and made my phone not have a number and now it says i do not have a sims card too what...
if you are using a sim card from a prepaid phone just bought, and then add it to another att branded phone, it will not work. if you use the sim card in the new prepaid phone, it will work. att locks the sims from working in other phones for 3 months from the factory. i did the same thing with a prepaid phone and a Q9, put the sim in the q9 and it said, no service. put the sim in the prepaid phone, it worked fine. my suggestion is to talk nice ot the att store employee, and they will give you a new sim.

Easiest thing is to contact att, tell them you are traveling outside the country for a month, and need your phone unlocked so you can use one of the cheap prepaid SIM cards that you can buy where you are traveling to. If they don't do it, wait 10 minutes, and try again, hopefully getting a different, more helpful operator.

Does the lg vu work with a prepaid service. i heard that any phone on At&t (excluding the iphone) will work on a prepaid service if you insert your pay as you go sim card in.. Thanks.
actually if you are going to use att's prepaid service, you can just insert that sim card in your lg vu.
