It sounds like it might need new brushes in the motor. Sometimes just before they wear down completely, they will wash but not spin, this is because the spin needs more power.

NOTE: A 600 is not a fast spinner. towles and jeans etc do not come out very dry.
Helpful information prior to diagnose
Have you checked to see if the pump filter is blocked so that all the water can drain away.
Does the machine just stop with all it's water still in it.
Does the machine finish it's cycle.
Does all the water pump out, do you hear a sucking noise (means no water left) or a humming noise( means pump jammed)
Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You need to check your water inlet valve and make sure it is not defective. Check your water pump and make sure it is working right. The pump pumps the water into the washer.
have you checked filter and also check for foreign objects in pump impellor - that is the usual problem. if both of these ok, then check continuity thro the pump windings
I have a Hoover Commander Model 2045LOAUS. The machine washes OK but will not spin (ie pump the water out). Could it be a burnnt out spin solenoid or motor??
hi there this is a common fault empty the water into a bucket and remove the water pump to check for blockages, the pump is located at the rerar lefthand side of the w/m.
also check your drain hose where it connects under your sink.
