My apologies it was a typo...
the command is eventvwr.msc
what you need to do now is install a program called radarsync (google it) AND BE VERY CAREFUL TO UNCHECK THE OPTIONS OF ALL THE TOOLBARS IT WILL ASK YOU TO INSTALL THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.
ITS A FREEWARE THATS WHY ALL THE TOOLBARS but trust me you dont want them.
let the tool scan for updates for your computer install the update you find for the wireless card and reboot
you shouldnt be getting the problem anymore
please rate if his fixes your issue
thanks
Router setup If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response. Thanks, Joe
You do not have to use the cd. Go to the control panel and un-install the program that the cd installed. then:
Shutdown your PC. Unplug the power from the router and the cable modem.
Wait 30 sec. then plug in the power to the cable modem, wait 30 sec. then plug the power to the router. Wait till you have "Internet" light then restart your PC. The PC should pick up an IP address and you should be able to get on-line. This is if you have a cable service provider. If you have DSL, the router needs to be configured with PPOe.

I can't run that command "windows cannot find eventvwr.mscin...."....This is the message I get from MS after the system recovers.
This problem was caused by Intel PRO/Wireless LAN 2200BG adapter software (w22n51.sys), which was created by IBM Corporation.
Download updates for Intel PRO/Wireless LAN 2200BG adapter software (w22n51.sys)
Thank you for your help but this did not fix the problem. I downloaded and installed all updates identified by radarsync then rebooted the laptop. When the router was plugged in the system crashed. The Event Viewer shows a System Error 102 Event Code 1003.
I purchased the Lnksys WRT110. Connected as per the CD instruction. Can not get access to the internet with my laptop.
I piggy rode on someone else and was able to connect. When going back to using directly my connection could not get it. I have been trying for over a week. I have try to get feed back from website and it still does not work.

Do you get an error message??
Type
eventvwr.mscin in the run window and look under applications for a red ex just after the crash(note the time). It would specify which module crashed.
