Fuser error code you can reset with sim 14. If it comes back then you have some type of issue with the fuser. Replace it with a new fuser.
If new fuser didn't take care of it, my best guess would be the AC power supply. The triacs for heater lamps are located there. Of course, the harness from AC ps to the fuser connector or the connector itself could have trouble....or, the PCU pwb isn't giving the signal to turn on HL2. Good Luck

Try resetting the code. On the control panel pess "Program-Interrupt-Clear- Interrupt" to enter sevece mode. Enter number 14, and on the touch screen press "execute" and "Yes". CA will reboot the machine..There was a problem with these macchines and H4 codes. If you open the left door and then look inside the front door, the fuser unit will be to your left. Remove two scews and pull out the fusing unit from the front of the machine. On the top plastic cover will be a little rectangular cut out with what looks like a push button inside of it. Push down on the button. If you hear or feel it "click", then slide the fusing unit back into the machine, Clear the error code using the steps above, and see if the error returns. As far as the problem with these machines and the H4 codes goes: while you have the fusing unit out of the copier, remove two screws, slide the cover and remove it. You will see a little connector board.with 3 or 4 wires going to it on the front side. If the little board is brown in color, it is an old style board. Have someone resolder the lugs the wires connect to. The new style boards are greeen in color. Bad solder joints on the older boards were the primary causre of H4 codes on these machines.
