Noticed the washer is getting very loud when in final spin mode. The drum is spinning but it is much louder than in the past.

Not like a high pitch bearing screech but If you open the lid it stops spinning very quickly I suspect bearing are failing... Are they replaceable

SOURCE: washer will not do final rinse or spin

Before the final rinse and/or spin can start the pump has to kick in. Tilt the machine back on an angle, on the right-hand side (closes to the front) is the pump motor. there will be 2 sets of wires, one green (earth), the other (brown and white), make sure they have not become loose.
I had exactly the same problem, I just unplugged the brown and white with needle nose pliers and squeeze the end (don't break it) & plugged it back in.
DISCONNECT FROM POWER before doing any of the above, good luck.

SOURCE: Our clothes washer has a bad screeching sound & loud spin cycle

screeching sound generally form a bad pump, which if didnt pump out correct amoun tof water would probalby send off balance more. unplug unit, ddrain out asmuch wateras possible and tip unit back, you will see the pump in the front right corner, there is a small plastic reles tab, after releasing it the pump simply twists out counter clockwise, perhaps ther is something in the pump/sump. you will see tis when oyou remove the pump, simply reinstalls the same way

SOURCE: Stops drains and bleeps with only spin light illuminated

It sounds like you need to re programme the
machine.
With the machine plugged into the wall and
turned on and the headset turned off this is what
you do.
Push and hold down the start button, while doing that you need to then push and hold down the power button.
Hold them down for about 5 seconds, during
which time you may a series of up to 3 beeps.
Then release the buttons.
Turn the machine off and then on again followed by the start button. Allow the machine to then run the complete cycle.
This should correct your problem, if this doesn't then you may need to then look at replacing the computer panels.

SOURCE: Noisey on spin

You will need special tools to put the main bearings back in as they need to go in straight and very very tight, to do seals and bearing will cost about $400 - $500 Sorry mate

Hi, I have a frigidaire front load washer, model FTF2140ESO, that is making a high pitched screeching noise when it enters into the final spin cycle. The noise ramps up in volume as the drum spins faster....

Some times screws can work their way out near the drum and rub against the drum causing the squeak. You might have to take off the back of the washer and see if there is anything loose contacting the drum.

Loud humming or buzzing only when it spins at high speeds

This noise causes by the drum bearing is getting worse. As soon as the noise is getting far louder and extremely louder then you have to replace the bearing of the outer drum. Normally, the repair cost is as high as buying a good deal new washer.

My Kenmore Elite 3T washer has a loud whistling noise in the spin cycle. ??? Thanks!

Hi.

When that happens it is often because the drum bearing is starting to go. The first symptom is a loud high pitched noise during the spin part of the cycle. As problem gets worsening you will notice that the drum will be a bit wobbly if you spin it by hand.

Here parts and diagrams.

Regards.

Ginko.

Recently moved and now my washer sounds like it is going to take off!

Hi.

If you hear an high pitched noise or rumble that becomes louder when spinning at speed, then you may have dislodged the drum bearing or broken the drum bearing spider.

The part is located at the back of the drum.

Washer is loud, and won't spin or agitate

check the motor bushes, and also check for bearings in drum you can check this by lifting the inner drum up and down if you feel a knocking noise then this will be the bearings have worn.

Drum Speed - Unstable

The spin bearing or basket drive may be worn. When these components are worn-they prevent the drum from spinning freely, and usually you hear a loud sound during the spin mode.
