Sounds like the flyback transformer. You can get a replacement flyback from www.tvrepairworld.com and assistance to help you identify if the flyback is the issue

do you smell something at the back of your tv. if yes and still hearing the continues cricking sound its your flyback transformer it has a leak a high voltage current is arching try to replace the flyback transformer.

Most RCA TVs used to have a parts list inside the back cover. The flyback part number should be there or you can check this link or here for more info on the flyback part number: 237502

Call union electronics at 1 800 648 6657. Have your model # and possibly a chassis # or board #. Are you sure this is the problem? A bad flyback is kind of rare but they do happen. Good Luck!

have you tried switching the tv over to a/v if there is no a/v or au button on the remote try pressing the (0) button as this is some times used as the a/v button hope this helps

the most common component to fail with that sympton is the flyback. If the chassis is a ITC222A the flyback will be 259296 or 265409 as they were both used in that chassis and model number. If you need more assistance let me know the Chassis number from the tag in the back.

First off you gotta tell us whats the right model and make as you have two listed here and both of these flybacks are avail. trough http://www.partstore.com. The parts are not listed online but get the toll free # or leave a message for them to get back to you. Now A flyback is not a user replaceable part for starters. It is soldered in and theres very high voltage inside these sets even after they are unplugged, and its not adviseable to replace a hi-voltage part in a set, unless you know the issues involved with replacing such parts.
