Nothing wierd...just no rinse/no spin/no drain with the whirlpool

My Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washing machine starts off perfectly! It will fill with water on any size load. It will agitate the clothes. When it's time for the rinse cycle, it just stops. No rinsing, no spining, no draining! I can still turn the knob but there are no strange sounds, no wierd smells, no leaking! Any suggestions?

Whirlpool top load washer no low-speed agitation. The unit fills, starts the wash cycle with normal agitation, but after a few minutes it just sits there soaking until the it's time to drain/spin. Drains...

Either the wire going to motor for non working speed is loose or damaged, or motor is bad. It could also possibly be timer not sending power to motor for that speed.

Whirlpool ultimate care II stops after filling

Hi, could be faulty timer, faulty water level switch, faulty start capacitor for motor, or faulty motor. always put clothes in machine before starting. you can empty machine by lowering drain hose to flow level.

Whirlpool Ultimate Care II keeps taking water.

ck your drain nose/drainline, chances are you have along hose, perhaps even draining along the floor behind hte unit, into a "closed" drain system. in which cawee the wwater is syphoning out during the rinse cycle, youlll needt o raise the drain hose to above 48" and have it drain into a stand pipe to prevent siphoning effect
