Please use the chart to determine which stove you have. You will have to look at the model number. The first 3 numbers will be the series on the chart. In most cases an F1 error would require replacment of the electronic control. This part is commonly refered to as an EOC or ERC. However this type of repair is usually reserved for repair specialists.

KENMORE Range/Stove/Oven Fault Codes – 362 Series (General Electric)
F1 = Stuck Touch Pad Key - Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC).

KENMORE - 911 Series (General Electric/Roper)
F0-F1-FF = Failed transistor in Electronic Range Control (ERC).

KENMORE Range/Stove/Oven Fault Codes- 665 Series (Whirlpool)
F1-E0 EPROM Error - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E1 EPROM Error - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E2 U/L ERC Errors - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E3 Fuel Type Fail

Kill power 30 seconds-Cancel-Start/Enter-5 seconds-Should see “E” for electric-
“9” for gas-If code changes again-replace Electronic Range Control (ERC).

KENMORE - 790 Series Electronic Oven Control (Frigidaire)
F1 = Shorted Touch Pad = Electronic Range Control (EOC) Internal checksum error.
Runaway Temp = Replace Electronic Oven Control (EOC).

Kill power 30 seconds - if error returns - replace Electronic Oven Control (EOC).

My Roper was doing this for no apparent reason. Buzzer would wake me up at 3am. Buzzer never went off when using the range.
I've gotten used to turning off the range circuit breaker after using the range. My solution. --Remove ERC board and unsolder the buzzer.

HI,
Disconnect power to stove
Gain access to the back of the clock (electronic range control or ERC).
Unplug the pad ribbon connector from the ERC. This will be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide.
Make sure everything is clear and will not short out when power is turned back on.
Turn power back on to stove.
Watch for the F1 and the beep
If you see f1 and hear the beep its the ERC
If after approx. 30 minutes you do NOT get the F1 and hear the beep, replace the touch pad.

The stove just says F1 and beeps won't let me do

Hello with the limited information and no make or model I can only give a generic response to this one. Most manufacturers F1 code indicates a bad control board (EOC) and or a bad touch-pad. If you have any other questions please feel free to comment. Mike

    Beeping F 10

    Hello
    Welcome to fixya.com

You r answer to the F10 code is:

The F10 error code indicates a runaway oven temperature. This would indicate that the oven temperature sensor or the electronic control has failed. According to the service manual you need to unplug the range & after restoring power the oven continues to overheat you will need to replace the electronic oven control.
This a job for a hands on tech!
