The machine runs fine until the spin cycle. It will not spin with a load of wet clothes. If I remove the clothing it will spin. I put one wet towel in and it will spin. Two and it will not. I pulled the back cover and the belt looks fine. Not weird noises or anything else.
I am not sure if Bosch has a "load sensing" sensor, but I would start there else you may have a motor issue, or bad capacitor on your motor.
What I did to fix it not doing final spin was to assume there might be contacts behind the Spin knob or Selection knob that were screwed up. I rotated both knobs fully for about 20 times, and reset the Spin knob at 950 rather than 1000. It is OK now. Caution: I have a Ph.D. which generally means I don't know what the hell I am talking about:-)

Hi,
Welcome to FixYa.
Based on what you`ve described, it sounds like perhaps there is an obstruction in the pump...or perhaps the pump is indeed seized/failed.
I would first check the pump for obstructions.
**Unplug the washer or turn off your breaker before servicing the washer...safety first**
To clean the pump on your washer, If you direct your attention to the bottom right side of your Bosch you'll see a small round cover like so...
With the aid of a small screw driver, knitting needle, or anything small enough to fit in the small hole in this cover...
It will push in a tab, it doesn't take much force.
Rotate the hole (clockwise) to 6'oclock and it should come free, the edges are very sharp so be careful.
Once the door is out of the way you'll be greeted by a 3-4" plastic cap with wings so you can unscrew it by hand. ( you should also see a green or red ring attached to a metal clip on the pump, if you pull this the door should unlatch, but getting the water out first is usually a good plan )
There is a small collector lip at the bottom of the cap, that is where you can hold the wet/dry vac to catch the water. Unscrew slowly so you don't get flooded, until it is unscrewed all the way out. There is potential for a lot of water...even if the washer looks empty.
Now pull out the trap/filter and visually inspect the inside of the pump as well as the filter/trap.
That is how you gain access to and clear the filter on your Bosch washer.
If this was the problem, awesome. If not let me know and I`ll try and help further.
Hope you found this helpful. If so please take a moment to write a short testimony and leave a rating.
Thank you for choosing FixYa, good luck.
Regards,
Macmarkus :)

If it spins the balance is okay. Check out your filter now. And then the pump (after the spigot prob below)
Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.
Rate me pl.....if helped.
SOURCE: Bosch Nexxt 800 washer won't drain clothes fully
There is not a Spin Only Cycle BUT there is a REFRESH cycle that will take about 10 minutes.
Sometimes when the load is unbalanced and the machine can not balance the load by itself, the clothes will remain soaked. To avoid this, make sure you always have a balance of small and large things and when loading your machine, do not shove the items in so they ball up.

Remove plastic panel at front bottom of washer, there you will see the filter, unscrew it anti clockwise to remove and clean, replace and tighten up clockwise.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

I suggest that you check the brushes in the motor for wear.
Remove rear panel, remove drive belt, undo bolts securing motor, unplug motor lead and earth wire.
Lever motor back, keeping hold of it, and remove.
Check the brushes, they are at the opp end to the motor pulley, if there is less than 8mm left, then replace brushes.
I would also check the pump filter, and clean if req'd.
Please rate my fixya solution.
Thanks.
