Well if you have a top loader then one or more of these bungies have broken: replacing stabilizers - 8a74703.jpgIf you have front loaders then a stablizer is like a shock on a car, with any luck you just have to locate it and snap it back in place. They come loose when someone washs tennis shoes or the washer is simply moved to another location.

Located on top of the machine. You must remove the front panel and then raise the top. . Check out the pic:

Use a putty knife in between the front and top to spring the front panel off. Get mean with it if you have to. Then remove the screws holding down the top. Raise it up and you will see the bungies. Even if they are not broken they are stretched. replace them.

Does this washer even have a hot water cycle? There is a hot water hose going in and it is turned on......but how do Iget a hot wash?

If the hot water is not working, then check the water inlet valve. Unplug the machine and turn off the water. Remove the water supply hoses and check the small metal screens inside the valve. Pay particular attention to the hot water side. Make sure the screens are clear of rust or debris. Check the solenoids using a multimeter or ohmmeter and check for continuity. A lack of continuity will mean a bad solenoid and the assembly will have to be replaced. I'll attach a photo for reference. Really sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

What does ce mean on a kenmore elite washing machine

This is generated as a "communication error" or "ce". This means the error occurred between the motor control and the machine control. This can be caused by loose wiring connections or a bad control board. You can try unplugging and reseating the electrical connections, paying special attention to the quick connect at the motor connector, and see if that clears it up. If not, then I would recommend contacting an appliance technician for assistance. Really sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Designer SE - My lettering looks terrible - jagged and twisted.

This may be your stabilizer. What kind are you using?
A good, solid foundation is important. If the fabric is allowed to stretch or move your embroidery will always be poor. Sweatshirts require considerable stabilization because they are very stretchy.
If the sweatshirt is a high loft fleece you may also want a stabilizer on the top of your fabric.
Try stitching the same letters on a piece of cotton fabric with a heavy tear away or cut away stabilizer. If it looks okay on that, it will look okay on the sweatshirt once it is stabilized.
