SInce this issue with the Olympus is soo reoccurring, blurry screen, wont focus, buzz sound, and then the dredful blue screen with ERROR code 5f08 5e02. Lets stop purchasing Olympus products until they decide to take some action and put a product on the market thats quality and WILL last. This has happpened with my 3 Olympus's, 3 times, over a four year span! I'm done! I want quality not estimated guess work on how far my moneys gonna get me!

There is a chance you can fix this. It sounds like the focusing ring is stuck or jammed. What you can try to do is spray some compressed air ($4 at Walmart) into the lens to try to free up any sand or dust that may have worked its way in. If that doesn't help, you can gently bump the camera to try to free the focusing ring.
If that doesn't help, the camera will have to be totally disassembled to get at the focusing ring. It's quite a job, but not impossible, just requires patience and remembering what goes where and how.
I wouldn't bother about having the camera repair, since the cost of repair would probably be more than a new one.

hi alexandra olympus cameras are know for having a few lens problems when ever a blue screen comes on the camera is faulty it sounds to me like you have some dirt or dust in the lens i have seen this problem a few times hope u get it sorted goodluck
