Digital Copier I have checked it out and I get power on but then I get a code of Ch on the readout. The copier made 2 copies and then froze. Now all I get when I power on is the CH code. Please advise. Tirshis

CH: i think you mean CH , there is tow type of " CH:

• blinking "CH" check the toner cartridge and reinstall it correctly
• steady "CH" check the copier door and close it properly

if CH blanks , your developer unit not inserted.
no blanks mean that side door or front door is open

Describe your code

Ch means the side door is not closed or the toner is not installed correctly.

CH - open cover in the paper feed area
CH blinking - Dev unit is not properly installed
For the 'CH' check the covers and make sure all covers are closed properly.
For the 'Blinking CH' take the dev. Unit open and the reinstall unit properly.

I believe that that "CH" code means that one of the doors is not fully closed. Not sure because I haven't worked on a Sharp in a couple of years. It's easy enough to check though. Let me know if that helped.
