Hi. I hope you've got the solution to this. All of a sudden, whenever I try to playback recorded images (video & still) I'm barely seeing anything--except tiny coloured squares that look like pieces of a puzzle. Very choppy. Choppy, staticky sound also. I have also noticed that, lately, a red "x" in a circle shows up on the screen and flickers when I am recording. Help! I use my camcorder all the time! Thank YOu!!!
A cleaning cassette ( the red ' x ' ) will help : if cleaning works ? retire your old tapes , or your heads may need replacement - sooner rather than later ;

my camcorder won't playback at all anymore. Just blue screen whenever I try. I also get the red cross thing when I record. I want to watch what I have recorded already. Help!
