Toro self propelled lawn mower dies after an hour

I have a 3 year old Toro self propelled personal pace lawn mower, model 20332. It has a new air filter, spark plug, and runs on ethanol-free gas. It starts right away, runs fine for about an hour, then starts struggling and dies. It won't start again until it has cooled off, but then dies repeatedly.

The oil level is right, and there's nothing foreign in the the gas tank.

Maybe u have to much oil in it or there mite be a stone in the carberator or petrol tank thats blocking the petrol ?

Dump the oil out and refill with fresh 30w.

Toro model 20332. Have put new transmission, belt and new drive wheels on back. When I use the personal pace bar it makes a grinding noise. Doesnt make noise unless I push that down.

Sounds like either the gears on the wheels or ends of the trans shaft are bad, or the internals of the trans are bad. Are the parts actually new-new, or used and new to the machine, you didn't specify. What happens when you manually spin the pulley on the top of the trans in either direction?

Toro timemaster is 3+ years old and doesn't self propel when you push the handle forward any longer.

Either the transmission is shot or the gears on the wheels that turn have been worn away;. They are plastic and do not last long nor take much abuse.

Is the tension spring gone? How is the cable? Usually there is a spring at the end of the cable in which when you pull back on the bar with your hands, this tightens the belt so that it engages with the engine allowing the wheels to turn.

The drive belt is off the pulley, you will need to check under the deck and possibly remove the cover on top of deck to put it back on.

Toro model 20038 self propel problem

Try taking the back wheels off and lubricating the joint cogs and wheels with ,say, 3 in 1 oil . The dealer recommended doing this once every couple of years as preventative maintenance when I bought mine , and it has solved sticking problems for me .

Toro Personal Pace self propel problem.

Your self-propel is probably belt driven. Belts can make an awfully lot of noise when unhappy. Possible it has rolled over and is running on the wrong side of the belt or is worn and just needs replaced. Hope this helps.,

SELF PROPELL NOT WORKING GOOD

Have you checked the belt that drives the wheel? This is more than likely the problem. It may be broken.
