Sometimes my webcam will come on and other times it just won't turn on
ok i think this is the model of my webcam but anyways
theres something wong with my webcam,
it wont turn off and i can not use the logitech software whenever i click on it to go onto the program to take pictures it says it is not plugged into the USB port but it is, and even when im not connected to the internet the webcam is still has itself turned on.
I tried uninstalling it and re-installing it, i did this about 2 times
and even when the logitech software is uninstalled and i have the webcam plugged in it still turns itself on and stays on untill i unplug it
i have no clue what could be wrong
the only thing i can think of is that my dad was downloading music and messing around with my computer and reinstalling windows 98 to make my computer go faster
do you think this has something to do with it and if it does how do i fix this
or do i have some kind of virus i should be scanning for?
please help!!

Disconnectthe Camera from the USB port and reinstall the CD or Downloaded softwareprogram. When the program asks you to connect the camera to theUSB port, do so and it should work.Then to use it on the Web, do this.
Web Camera’s have to besetup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the cameraon your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order forthe Audio and Video to function properly.
A. Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/) set it up as follows:
The camera and audio should function properly. Yourfriends and Family will now be able to see and her to you.
B. Yahoo Setup:
After downloading and installing Yahoo Messenger (http://www.soft32.com/download_30.html) set it up as follows:
