How do I get to the main board for the polaroid 1911 tlxb tv?

Just replace the T-Con board and you dont need any soldering at all. JUst be careful for the flex connector.

You need to remove te stand also, you only do thsi if you want to see EVERYTHING inside.
To get to the power supply and main boards, you just need to remove the center cover.

Or www.digikey.com, just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current and long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.

Maybe the sppeaker is faulty or the output audio amplifier IC is faulty.
You must remove and check first the speakers , if Ok then check for main voltage tot he IC, if not check power supply, If yes then the IC can be faulty.
You can easily use an audio signal to test and confirm

Have/Had the same problem, try disconnecting the vga cord from the tv, removing the power cable and reattaching the power cable. Turn the tv on and then connect the vga cord back into place. It doesnt make sense but i've been having to do this since i bought the tv

I think I may have just solved this issue. Remove the back covers and turn the tv on until it the screen goes black. There will be a little red led that will light up when the screen goes black. right above that light there is 4 little swiches, the bottom one is labled BURN. Switch that one to the opposite direction. I don't know how but mine has been working for a couple days now with no issues. GOOD LUCK!

Go to the polaroid website.  They will most likely have a user manual available on pdf or download there.

Type the ip of your A.P in xplorer and then,
go to wireless--security--encryption--select WEP-- set wep key and finaly type the code in encryption key

I have the same tv and this code worked for me today. It is 1523 and if you have comcast then it is a 5-digit code 11523. Goodluck.
