I have vector 995 and recently my sound volume went way down. I tried increasing it to max but I can still barely hear it when the radio is playing in the background. Any ideas what might be causing that? Thanks
The speaker could have gone bad. Or it simply could be corrupted settings for your saved user settings. To reset your V995 to the factory default settins:
-- Power off your V995 using its power button. -- Hold down the two "Program" buttons and, while holding down these two buttons, press the Power button. Release all three buttons when "Reset" is displayed on your V995's display. Performing this factory reset forces the V995 to load the factory default settings which are permanently stored in a separate part of the firmware code. These settings then overwrite your stored preferences which are stored in another part of the memory. Now, all you have to do after performing this "factory reset" procedure is to once again set all settings to whatever you prefer.

remove battery from phone and reinstall after 10 mins... this seems to fix alot of things also go to sound setting a make sure the volume is turned up all the way
Hi,
you can try to change the profile settings of the phone, because sometimes even if the volume is full but if the profile settings is on low, the sound will still be low.
Thank you for using Fixya.
Hi, I assume this is not a Motherboard problem, but rather a problem with your Cell phone? It sounds like you have turned down the Volume control on your phone. A lot of cell phones have a Volume up and down function buttons on the side of the phone. If there are two small buttons try pushing the upper button. Usually you will see the Volume bar increase on the phone screen It may also be adjustable in the phones Menu. Try the Phone settings option in the phone menu. It may also be under the Tones or ringer setting. Have a look in your user manual or visit the manufactures website. eg Nokia, Samsung, etc etc Cheers, Steve
