MY GE MONOGRAM ZIS420D FREZZER IS NOT MAING ANY ICE. WHAT SHOULD I DO

Check for continuity on the ice maker water fill solenoid valve in the lower rear area of the refrigerator,then remove cover from front of ice maker, and there are 2 gears inside this cover,follow the instructions on the ice maker by this gear and turn it the way it tells you to,this will initiate a manual ice production,you will see the gears turn by themselves after you help turn these gears initially,then you should see water enter from fill tube in the back of the ice maker if the fill tube isnt froze over,if no ice production occurs the ice maker thermostat could be open(bad) or if it makes ice but doesn't push it out the heater below the maker may be open(bad)
