go into call settings locate and open addition settings option open that up and you'll see the caller id option open select from the options your then given.
You would have to subscribe to that feature from your local phone company, then when a number like that calls they will get a recording that states you do not accept blocked calls...
Using Call Block If you subscribe to Caller ID, you can save phone numbers to the call block list. When a call comes in, the phone compares the received phone number to the numbers on the call block list. If the phone number is on the list, the phone replaces the caller's name with Call Blocked and disconnects the call. (The caller hears a reject tone.)
The call block list holds 20 entries, and all stations share the same list. You can add entries through the Call Blocking menu, by selecting Add Call Block in the CID menu, or by blocking incoming calls. (Only one station can edit the call block list at a time.) Blocking incoming calls
When the phone rings, wait until the display shows the Caller ID information (usually after the second ring).
If you want to block the call and add this number to the call block list, press Block.
When the phone asks you to confirm, press Menu/select or Block. Blocking an incoming call from an "Unknown" or "Private" number is the same as selecting Unknown Number or Private Number from the Call Blocking menu.
Call Blocking menu options
With the phone in standby, open the menu and select Call Blocking.
Choose one of these options:
Create New(Handset only) - Add an entry to your call block list. The phone will prompt you to enter a name & phone number.
Private Number(Handset only) - Block all calls from numbers reported by CID as "Private." (This does not count as one of the 20 entries.)
Unknown Number(Handset only) - Block all calls from numbers reported by CID as "Unknown". (This does not count as one of the 20 entries.)
Call block entry options
With the phone in standby, open the call block list and find the entry you want.
Press Menu/select to open the individual entry menu. Choose one of these options:
Edit(Handset only) - Edit this entry. The phone will prompt you to edit the name & phone number.
Delete - Erase this entry from the list & allow calls from this number.
The one who can show the caller ID when someone call is the caller only. He/she can set to hide his/her number ID in their phone so we can't see it. We can't force to see this caller ID, but if this calls disturbed you, you can install call blocker and only allow certain incoming call to be recieved.
Telephone settings Select Menu > Tools > Settings > Phone. Select from the following: • Call — Define general call settings.
Call settings To display your phone number to the person you are calling, select Call > Send my caller ID > Yes. To let the network determine whether your caller ID is sent, select Set by network.
Thanks for using FixYa. I think you have stored more than 100 Caller ID messages and hence the caller ID is not showing on Uniden Tru8888.In the following cases the caller ID will not be shown-
If you answer a call before the Caller ID message is received (for example, before the second ring), the Caller ID message will not appear.
When the call is received via a telephone company that does not offer Caller ID service, the caller’s phone number and name does not appear. (This includes some international calls.)
When the call is via a private branch exchange (PBX), the caller's phone number and name may not appear.
You may receive any one of the following messages:
When a private name is received; Private Name
When a private number is received; Private Number
When a unknown name is received; Unknown Name
When a unknown number is received; Unknown Number
When invalid data is received; Incomplete Data
The Caller ID list stores information for incoming calls - even unanswered calls. You can store up to 100 Caller ID messages and phonebook entries (including Speed Dials) for each handset and the base. You can view the Caller ID list through the handset or base during a call or when the phone is in standby mode.
Memory locations for Caller ID messages and Phonebook entries (including Speed Dials) are common, you can store up to all 100 entries for each handset and the base. Caller ID messages are not stored when you have 100 phonebook entries. When you have stored a total of 100 phonebook entries and Caller ID messages, the oldest Caller ID message is overwritten.

If you subscribe to a caller ID service through your phone provider, you can block specific fax numbers so the device does not print faxes received from those numbers. When an incoming fax call is received, the device compares the number to the list of junk fax numbers to determine if the call should be blocked. If the number matches a number in the blocked fax numbers list, the fax is not printed. Set the junk fax mode By default, Block Junk Fax mode is turned On. If you do not subscribe to a caller ID service through your phone provider, or do not want to use this feature, you can turn off this setting. To set the junk fax mode ▲ Some models have a Block Junk Fax button. Depending on the model you have, do one of the following: • Block Junk Fax button: Press the Junk Fax Blocker button, select the Block Junk Fax option, and then select On or Off. • Color display menu: Press Setup, select Basic Fax Menu, select Junk Fax Blocker Setup, select Block Junk Fax, and then select On or Off. Add numbers to the junk fax list There are two ways to add a number to your junk list. You can select numbers from your caller ID history, or you can enter new numbers. The numbers in your junk list are blocked if Block Junk Fax mode is set to On.
