Hi,
I think DVD player is hooked with TV via component video input.

Check component video connections and make sure each color wire connect in same correspondence color in both units, TV and DVD Player.

Red to red, green to green and blue to blue.

    Sorry? what green and yellow?
You should hook up either Yellow to Yellow for video and red-white for audio OR connect Blue-Red-Green terminals for video and red-white for audio.
Let me know exactly how you hooked it up t help you.

The screen turns green after playing videos for 20 minures

The Video Controller works off of the RGB principal. RED/Green/Blue pixels. The mix color is dependent on the formation and density of the pixel and rates. When one or more colors are absent the only functioning color will dominate, and it is Green in your case. The screen liquid crystals in Red and Blue are failing and only a screen replacement will fix the situation.

Green tint on TV screen when playing DVD's or Videos 2nd problem and can't record anything

1: Hi i would recommend trying the recorder on a different tv to check if the problem continues. If the green tint is gone then its the tvs inputs. If it is still green then its the player or the cord. Try a different cord if the green tint is still there then the player has a problem.

2: Now for the VHS to DVD. There are general a lock out encoded on the VHS if it is a store bought movie. This is to protect the content on the VHS from piracy and that would case the DVD to be blank. The VHS to DVD are made for converting your home videos like family vacations and stuff you record your self and not for commercial movies like the ones you bye at the store. If you want to convert old VHS movies to DVD you would have to get another VHS player and another device in between the VHS player and the VHS to DVD recorder.

I have a Emerson 42" Plasma Screen and it will only play in black and white for DVD's and when i try to play my wii.

If you connect your DVD player and Wii in the same type on input you may have a signal board issue.

Get a green screen when tryin to play blu ray dvd on acer pc. sound is ok but cannot get past green screen

Yeah, that's an issue with overlay screens, secure playback and display selection; tell it to play to a particular display rather than a shared ouput or such and you'll suddenly see something.  Get into those videocard settings!

DVD plays with green stripe and pixelation

try turning off / on progressive scan. You could also change the Scanlines in the settings / display menu until u find one that clears up the issue.

Its more than likely a settings issue.

GREEN LINES

Are those line on the desktop / screen itself or within a program to play a movie. If those lines apear on th screen itself than the probem can be related to backlightes (laps around your screen) or inverter ( a part of backlights system). More possible those lapms needs to be exchanged. Please give more details.
