Is the number on the effects display still flashing? Can you select effects or is that section dead now? I've had occasions with my Behringer mixers where a bad ground or otherwise improper power supply seems to cause issues with the effects section but the board seems otherwise functional. It has definitely had me scratching my head a few times and is worth investigating.
Yes Darren, When it switch on for first the time it is flashing ( Both displays) for few seconds , then it comes to dead, but all other channels, inserts, EQ are working perfectly. so my effects section totally dead. I bought a behringer DSP2024P voice mechine yesturday as I have a music programme tommorow. I realy helpless at the time but I am manage to do my programme with the DSP2024P.any how thanks for the reply.

The effects on the PMP powered mixers flash UNTIL you push in on the selector knob. This way you can dial in the next effect number and then push in later to activate when you want it... Could yours possibly be the same technique?

This is a wild educated guess.
I repaired a Behringer guitar amp that had a DSP effects in it (BX1200 I believe).
The effects were on a seperate board and the board had its own 5 volt power supply. The filter capacitor for the 5 volt power on the board was UNDERSIZED and it had degraded causing the 5 volts to drop out of regulation, dipping to 4 volts. This caused the DSP effects to fail.
YOUR device MAY use the same DSP OR design.
Check the 5 volt power with an OSCILLOSCOPE to look for dips below the 5 volt operating point that occur at 120 HZ.

This is in general for Behringer mixers since you did NOT tell us a model number...
To use the effects you adjust the FX knob for EACH channel for the amount of the mic or input you want to send to effects from that channel. This is the "send" mix.
You dial in one of the effects based on the list near the effects selection window with the selector knob and the number will change and start flashing. You press down on the selection knob which will enter the new effects number and the number will be solid and not flashing.
Then there is a knob to select how much of the OUTPUT of the effects you want to go to the main and sometimes one for the amount to the monitors.
That is all there is to it. The effects can be gated by a foot switch input if you desire.
It is a good idea to include a model number as your thing is posted as if it is a PMP3000 mixer.

First thing to check is the power supply voltages. I have seen a Behringer effect module that had low 5 volts and it continually reset itself.

Typical Behringer mixer should have same DSP as yours and similar or identical power supply

Those are the selected effects that will become active. You DIAL up the desired number and when you want the dialed effect to activate, you PRESS DOWN on the selection knob which triggers the effect.
There is NOTHING wrong, you just haven't pressed the knob down. You have dialed effect #1 which is the first step above a "small hall" reverb... And you have dialed #25 which is a longer delay "plate" reverb. Each of these will become active when you push down on their respective knobs and they will be solid, not flashing when they are selected.
There is also a little period that appears if you disable each of these effects with the disable switch.
