I replaced the control board, cleaned out the hoses and checked the seal around the door.
The circuit thinks the unit is in spin cycle - Remove the door lock assembly and measure the resistance of the PTC. Shorted or open, defective door lock assembly. Reads around 1500 ohms, defective Main Control Board.

yea board or latch)latch usually shows fault. the board is located left rear of unit, first ck for loose wire connection leading to it.

Yes, the original issue was the control from the beginning. the control is damaged and it cannot register the latch at this point. this is necessary and , it will fix the issue.
