After installing a new cartridge and the blinking light is on Toner Low, it means that the photoconductor is almost full and should be replaced soon. Press and release the Continue button (green button) to clear the light sequence and continue processing the print job. If the light is still blinking, replace the photoconductor kit.

My toner cartridge was recently replaced (we use the proper cartridges, not refills) and within about 3 weeks (sooner than last time) the "toner low" light is flashing. The print quality is still perfect....

Whenever you replace the photoconductor kit, you will also need to manually reset the photoconductor page counter. Visit the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/8YJwFU, for the instructions on how to reset the pc page count. You can also contact Lexmark technical support or your authorized service provider for additional assistance.

Replaced toner and maintenance kit -keep getting yellow lights on exclamation and toner

If the toner and the exclamation lights are blinking yellow after replacing the toner and maintenance kit, then you will need to reset the photoconductor counter. But if the exclamation and the toner lights are steady on yellow, then that means there is something wrong with the toner.

The printer reports states low pc kit. I have changed the kit and toner and it still is binking.

After replacing the kit and toner, you will need to reset the printer's page count. Simply press and hold the CANCEL button while the printer is on and the front cover open until all lights are flashing. Hope this helps.

Lexmark e250dn printer, toner light is flashing, new cartridge

Could be photoconductor at end of life.

You shoul still be able to do a printer test print (press the arrow button).

Look on the printed pagesfor Toner AND Photoconductor.

These show as OK when new or very low count, and 100% when fully used.

If the toner is showing as 100% when you've just replaced it, either the chip is faulty, the wrong one, or if the cartridge is a remanufactured one possibly nor been replaced.
