Blank White Screen - No Menu Showing

My Sansa e250 (Lil' Monsta) turns on and off and plays music, but when I turn it on, a blank white screen is all I can see. No menu, no pictures, no video. I tried to call customer support, but they weren't exactly helpful.

Unfortunately, the advice isn't working, but, I have two theories: 1)The player was working fine until I went through the airport. (I know, it sounds crazy.) It worked fine in the car on the way to the airport, but when I turned it on while we were in the air, a white screen showed up. And, 2) Could the battery just need to be replaced? How often does it need to be replaced? The battery is only 5 months old! Any thoughts are appreciated!

My Sansa has a similar problem. Sometimes when the Sansa turns on (after the Sandisk logo) the screen will either turn black, blue, or black and white stripes. The player still works, but it is hard to navigate without the screen, obviously. What I end up doing is letting the backlight turn off and then pressing any button. Sometimes when the screen comes back, the display is allright again. But sometimes it takes more than a few tries. Turning it off and on again seems to work a little better, but it is more time consuming.

White Screen

if you disconnect your mp3 player, does the screen still appear white and can you turn it on or off?
i had the same problem, basically it freezes because it is busy downloading music or placing music where it is suppost to be. but if you cannot turn it off after you have unplugged it, you should take off the back cover and take out the battery. place the battery back in, and replace the cover and it should be able to turn back on without a white screen.

Try the Five R's suggested by your user's manual - you can get the manual from Apple's website if you have lost it:
Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall, Restore
Remember these five basic suggestions if you have a problem with your iPod nano. If
one of the following doesn’t help, read on for solutions to specific problems.
â Reset your iPod nano. See “General Suggestions,” below.
â Retry with a different USB port if you cannot see iPod nano in iTunes.
â Restart your computer and make sure you have the latest software updates
installed.
â Reinstall iPod and iTunes software from the latest versions on the web.
â Restore your iPod nano. See “Updating and Restoring iPod Software” on page whatever.

Go throught this page

Your ipod might need to be repaired, the apple service assistant is on the bottom.

Might be a loose connection or other failing component I don't think there is no quick fix for this.

If the problem is solved dont forget to rate as fixya otherwise there is no need to rate it. As there is noting else we could do about it.
