Printin Problem I have been trying to print a document from the computer. The first 2 tries, the some lines printed, some were unreadable. Now it won't copy the document at all. The ink level is fine. I cleaned the print heads. I printed a calibration sheet (which was ok) It prints in colour but not black and white documents.

that only means that the nozzles of your printer for the colored ink are clogged by dried inks but for black, its not, you can try printing a nozzle check to prove or check that. and if you found out that it has missing lines, do head cleaning

i am an expert at locating patches and serials and i can't find it  I recommend Belltech Greeting Card Designer   or  HallMark Card Studio 2007 where serials and patches are easier to come by

If the printer is connected with the usb then just delete the printer icon from the printers folder

then go ahead and remove the USB cable from the computer and plug it back again it will search for printer drivers which are there and an ICON will up

After that u can print

Thank you for following me up, I managed to discover that the document I was trying to print was set up for manuel paper feed, other documents subsequently went back to normal after printing the offending document. However is there a setting on the actual printer to control this.

reinstall the printer driver, if the problem persist try changing the parallel cable.

Try to change the dpi to the maximum, maybe 600 dpi. This will make the picture more defined.

A solid line sounds like a jet (in the print head) always on. Replace the print head (<$50 on eBay).

A white line (no ink) sounds like a clogged print head or a burned out jet. Replacing the print head will fix either one. If it is clogged, you might be able to clean it but this procedure is complex (soaking or special cleaners). Read about cleaning in other posts.

check if the file is not currupted.

and the printer is set for RAW printing, probably dont have enough memory, to print the document

try printing like only 10 pages at a time to see if the last 10 print

if it does might want to invest some money in some printer memory

As the printer is printing fine from word......try to print from notepad and wordpad also.

If it prints fine then it is a problem with internet explorer or it can be also a problem with a particular website.

If you are facing the same problem with all the websites then try reinstalling Internet Explorer.

It is almost two years i started using this printer but recently whenever i;m printing with this printer, i get a report; " Cam Platten Error" and my document fails to print. Please help me.
