Check waser toner bottle - Kyocera Mita FS 3800 Laser Printer

If toner bottle not rotation then the toner bottle motor is faulty. You can check does the motor work in service mode. But also it might be and the gears on the PCU to be worn out. If you need instructions how to check in service mode does the toner bottle work, please write a comment.

A few things could be wrong.
1. Check if the toner is not bad, all hard as a rock. If so replace it
2. Check to see if the toner bottle isn't dammaged. If so replace it.
3. The toner auger is clogged? Vacuum the whole toner hopper out so it empty then add a fresh new toner. If it adds toner you will know. If it doesn't then the ring the toner bottle sits in is siezed. Remove it and clean throughly.
3. If all that seems good your going to hafta get a new hopper unit.

Mam, First remove the toner bottle. Turn of the power. Then turn on the power. without he toner bottle in the machince. Let the machine then run thur its normal program. When the machine asks for a new toner install the bottle. Also check the toner bottle, ensure the nub that sticks out is not damaged if it is dented in anyway replace with a new bottle. That nub is what toner motor uses to turn the bottle, if damage the motor will not get a good whole on the bottle. If that does not work you may need a new image unit.

Toner bottle is not properly installed or the drive system for the bottle is binding. Connections to the PRCB may possibly be faulty.

SOLUTION: Check to be sure that the toner bottle is properly installed. Check for binding in the drive of the toner bottle.

This is an error code for the RFID which is the toner bottle chip on the the toner bottles. I would suggest you check the toner cartridges for any damaged or disconnected chips, have you changed to non ricoh toners as this can sometimes cause a problem. Check each bottle if you have any old empty bottles insert one of these into corresponding colour slot and you can then see which bottle is causing the error. Failing this the board will need to be changed. I have had errors on non ricoh bottles. you can also vac out the slot to clear spilt toner. hope this helps

Open the toner bottle door,rotate the bottle mannualy 90 degr.and turn the copier ON.If the bottle rotated verify the toner level in the developing unit.If not rotate check the bottle motor and sensor.

The waste toner bottle comes with new toner cartridge and should be changed when the toner is installed. Here is a link to the Kyocera web site document that shows where the waste toner bottle is located and how to change it.

Check that the bottle is also clean from toner residue especially around the top where the lid is.

Use a clean rag or paper towel to wipe away all the toner.inside and out.

This should make the message go away

The toner bottle sensors don't go bad too often. Do you have an extra yellow toner bottle? Try replacing that first. Compare the tray where the yellow toner bottle sits to the other three colors, and make sure nothing where the toner bottle connects is broken or bent.

the part numbers are different for each toner from ricoh, Lanier, Savin and Gestetner. From what I recall is the bottles are different, check the old bottle vs new. Also if the machine had run very low you may have to open and close the fron cover several times, this intiates a toner feed program.
